Please refer to the Call for Proposals for information on JWST Proposal Types and Categories. The Call also describes JWST How Your Proposal is Evaluated, i.e., how the different proposal categories get to be reviewed and what type of proposals are distributed to the different types of review panels. Proposals are assigned to their Science Category according to the Science Keywords.
