This page provides links to top-level information about proposal types, sizes, and science areas for reviewers participating in the JWST peer review process. 

JWST proposals may request both observing time and funding (the latter is only for proposers from U.S. institutions). Please refer to the Call for Proposals for information on JWST Proposal Categories. The Call also describes JWST Proposal Selection Procedures - Cycle 4, i.e., how the different proposal categories get to be reviewed and what type of proposals are distributed to the different types of review panels. Proposals are assigned to different science areas according to these Science Keywords.
